She joins Hammond Lumber Company #15 and #33, Pacific Lumber Company #29 and Elk River Mill & Lumber Company #54 (aka the Murphy Diesel) which were all moved in the last week. The locomotives make a tight fit as the roundhouse already housed Bear Harbor Lumber Company #2 and our Humboldt Northern caboose. We are very grateful to Mercer-Frasier, Garth Sundberg, North Coast Fabricators, Jon Pittman and Kernen Construction for their help in making the move possible. we will soon post pictures of the move to the museum section - they are quite dramatic! 4/30/09The Timber Heritage Association completed the move of all remaining equipment from Glendale this afternoon when Arcata & Mad River Railroad #7 was lifted onto a truck and brought to the Samoa roundhouse.
